Burning Instructions/Tips
Burning Instructions: Trim wick to ¼ inch each time before lighting. This removes any soot, eliminating the “burnt candle” smell, and ensures that your candle will burn long and clean.
Keep candles free of any foreign materials including matches and wick trimmings. Only burn candles on a level, heat-resistant surface. Do not burn the candle for more than 4 hours.
Additional candle safety information:
- To prevent fire and serious injury, burn candles within sight.
- Keep out of reach of children and pets.
- Keep away from drafts and vibrations.
- Never burn candles on or near anything that can catch fire.
- Always burn candles in a well-ventilated area.
Why is soy wax so special? Soy wax is a soft wax that has a lower melting point than paraffin wax, therefore soy burns at a cooler temperature … lasting longer! Soy wax is biodegradable and easily cleans up with soap and water.
Because soy wax is a softer wax, here is my favorite tip for removing my cookies from your wax warmer:
When you are ready to change scents, turn your wax warmer off. Allow the wax to cool completely. Simply pop your insert out of your burner (if your warmer has one) and set it into the freezer for at least 5 minutes. This will harden the wax where it now can easily be popped out of the insert. This method will also work for ceramic tea light burners!
Disposable and silicone reusable liners can also be purchased on Amazon.
